Carazona® Series
Carazona® Series Books and Plush Dolls are clown- and circus-based stories and characters. They are designed to educate and entertain children about clowning, a clowning career, and clowning circus experiences. Here at Carazona Creations, we want our products to foster respect and appreciation for clowning as a profession and for the sacrifices and patience necessary for those who become clowns. Clowning is more than a job; it's a calling!
Our Vision Statement
- To promote fun and entertainment for children through a wide variety of media.
- To create an educational and wholesome environment in a way that will teach respect and love for others.
About the Author
About the Illustrator
Amanda Spalinski is entering her senior year as a character animation student at the California Institute of the Arts. A 1999 graduate of Hopewell Valley High School in Pennington, New Jersey, Amanda can't remember a time when art was not part of her life, beginning with the gifted & talented art program in elementary school. Her early training led to advanced placement art in high school, where she studied under Dr. Robert O'Boyle, who remains a strong influence and inspiration to her today. In 1998, Amanda was honored by selection to the prestigious Governors School of the Arts, and was one of only 15 visual artists among nearly 200 high school nominees competing for the coveted program. Most recently, Amanda's animated short film "Skippy" was chosen for the Cal-Arts "Producers Show", a juried competition of student films given a special screening before major studio representatives at the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Theater in Hollywood, California.
